    Hot water heater
I think my hot water heater is going out... I can lite the pilot and then it will start but only for a few min... I tapped around inside just a little to loosen stuff and right now it seems to stay lit... so I am thinking about replacing my water heater if this keeps happening...

My question is: should I go for a tank heater or a instant hot water... I know I will have to have someone come out in all cases... electric to run the wires and gas to increase the size of the gas pipe... or someone to install the new take... what one is the best for the buck?

Water heater failure are usually leaks. You have a pilot light, thermocouple or burner issue which are reairible. Do you want it fix or are you dead set on replacing?
