Value of Leslie Cope Oil Painting?
I have a Leslie Cope oil painting signed & dated 1947.
It is of a plough in a field being drawn by three horses with two workers behind.
I would like to know its approx value & whether there is any market for his work.
Thanking you for your time and attention.

I collect farm scenes and if you send me some pictures and the dimensions of the painting, I might be interested in buying the painting from you.

    Best regards,

Best market would be around Zanesville, OH. The art gallery there has contact with his wife & may be able to give you names of local collectors. If it is original oil it should be worth at least $500 and possibly a couple of thousand, depending on how sought after that one is. Size & condition play a large roll in price as well.
