I moved out of a property before sept 1 2009 , here it is middle of nov and I still haven't received my deposit back. I've been calling for the last month and the company doesn't have an answer on why they haven't paid. How much time are they allowed before my money is to be returned to me?

Few things we need to know before we can give you an accurate answer:

1) What state is this in?
2) Did you have a written lease?
3) What was the term of your lease?
4) When did you give notice of your intent to vacate?
5) When did you actually vacate the property?
6) How much was monthly rent and how much was your deposit?
