i eat a lot but don't gain weight
I've been working out and trying to get bigger.. I don't want to use protein or anything like that.. I want to stay natural. I have a feeling that if I use protein or anything.. that my body will get dependent on the substance.

I eat a lot.. and I don't gain anything at all.. I'm slim and I want to get some meat on me but it seems impossible. My muscles only get more defined. Is it because of the missing fat? What shall I do to get some "meat" on me? I eat chicken, tuna, steak, and all the things that should help but don't.

your advice would be greatly appreciated. =)

Protein is extremely "natural". Don't get hung up over taking supplements. The body cannot become dependent on protein.

The muscles will become more defined as you continue to work out. It sounds like your diet is fine. Make sure you eat a balanced diet. You need fats, carbs, and protein as well as vitamins, minerals, etc.

You cannot get bigger without protein. As the first poster stated, it is also natural. It isn't a narcotic that becomes dangerously addictive to your body.

There are also two ways to lift weights:

    1) High rep and low weight lifts that are done for a more endurance building and ripped effect

    2) High weight and lower rep lifts and are used to actually make you stronger and increase muscle mass

It is a good idea to mix a bit of both into your routine. One week do the first, the next do the other. It is also important to NEVER over train. Your muscles grow only when you rest, they don't grown while working out. If you don't allow your muscles to actually replenish, you will actually do the reverse of what you intend to do.
