    Granting guardianship to biological father
If something should happen to myself, I would like to grant guardianship of my daughter to her biological father. I just don't know if it is possible, as I am married. However, my husband does know that he is not my daughters biological father, and my daughter knows and talks to her biological father.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Is your husband the legal father of the child ? What state are you in ? In some states they allow for the legal father to relinquish his rights if challenged by the bio father.

First, please pay more attention to posting guidelines. There is a Read first sticky at the top of the Children forum (where this was moved from) that refers questions of a legal nature to this forum.

Who's name is on the birth certificate? Were you married when you had the child? Has your husband signed an acknowledgement of paternity? How old is the child?
