Usually my period lasts for 6-7days. I have had my period going on 13days now! I'm not on the pill, I'm only 20years young... Can someone please help?? Why is it not stopping? :(

It could just be an extended period. Sometimes mine only last 2-3 days, others almost 7. I'm not on the pill either, it's just what my body decides to do.



Another thing is that you could have lacerations or tears on the inside of your uterus. I'm not an expert but it's a possibility. I knew a lady that had really long and heavy periods because of that, and she wouldn't stop bleeding. She had to wear pads and tampons at the same time, and change them almost every hour. If you haven't seen a doctor for it yet, you really should.

Sounds like you should go to a doctor. If you do not have one there are clinics (Planned Parenthood, County Health Department) or even a local Emergency Room.

I have had my period for 14 days now and I am not on the pill, I went to the doctors and she gave me some pills to make it stop but now I am unsure after reading everyone's story on here, I want to have another baby soon but I don't know what's going on
