    What is the difference between switchgear and circuit breakers.

    Switchgear is the component such as,circuitbreaker,disconnecting switches,fuses,&insulators.

    And the circuit breaker is the device to make ON/OFF the supply during normal condition and it get disconnected during ubnormal condition such asoverload/ short circuit or earth faults

    Switchgear is a device by which we can change the supply voltage one line to other line
    Avd circuit braker is a switch, which can be close or open in either normal or fault condition . Whenever a fault occure in supply system we can brake the circuit and give the proper maintenance
