Hi I wondered if any one could help me my cat is acting very strange I have been on information sites but I just wondered if any one has experienced the same her nipples do seem a little enlarged but not huge she does tend to sleep a bit more than nomal and has started going up stairs in to a makeshift den me and my kids made just in case she is,she had a bigger appitite but has started to slow down I can also feel a popping sensaition in her lower abdominal area strange I know the prob is she's really fluffy and we couldn't see any movement if we tried her tummy does look a little rounder unfortunately she was due to be fixed I lokked after my friends cat while she was away she was told he was spayed by preveos owners but it appears not if she is expecting I do plan to keep the kittens as I understand and refused to be classed as a neglegent owner I love my cat to bits please help thanks

One way I always found to check and see if my cats were pregnant is to look at their, um, I guess you could call it vagina and butt hole area. Usually if it's inflamed and red that means they are pregnant. Also, feel around on her belly and see if you feel lumps. If you do, those are the babies. How long have you been noticing this strange behavior? Cats usually deliver in around 60-63 days of becoming pregnant so how far along do you think she is?

Thanks for your reply I have never experienced this before so I couldn't tell you she's been acting strange for about 4 to 5 weeks now I believe she's started nesting but thanks I will check her erm butt and ill let you know the outcome thanks again
