    Best epoxy
I was going to insert a piece of 3" pvc into a bell of a cast iron soil pipe and pack oakum into it. If I didn't want to pour lead or buy leaded wool what would be the best epoxy to use or would hydraulic cement work. I wanted something that would cure quickly.

    Thanks

You can't pour melted lead on a Cast Iron to PVC transition. Lead woll packed and caulked would be your best option since the oakum MUST be packed tightly in place to insure no leak and the last time I checked you can 't caulk epoxy. Good luck, Tom

So this is a drain, right? Harvey's plumbers epoxy is a 2 part mix and will harden in 20 minutes.
