    Vector control?
If this shold be somewhere else I'm sorry please move it for me.

On our street is a house, that pretty much looks empty and unlived. All over the house are signs from the county office that say 'maricopa county vector control' on it.
And I was curious what it was? It also has a warning about tresspassing and breaking and entering. But I didn't read the whole thing because it was close into the front door, and with the warnings all over it I didn't want to take the chance of breaking the law getting to close.

Should I be worried about this? I know its none of my business, but I want to make sure if I need to be aware of it to keep my daughter away from that house?

Jennie, I did a quick search and came up with this website for Maricopa Vector Control: Home :: Vector Control

It sounds like there may have been complaints about an "abandoned" house possibly becoming a health hazard as a breeding ground for rodents and other pests.

If you are concerned, you could contact them and find out, but it looks like they are the part of your local government that is supposed to keep it from becoming a larger problem.

Ahh thank you. That makes sense then the house doesn't have someone living in it, and there is a sign on the side leading to the back yard stating that the pool was treated with mosquito eating fish. So possibly there was a bad mosquito infection going on which is a big problem here in az from what I understand, but we always took care of our pool so never accually SAW it lol.

Thanks for looking that up for me hon I should have looked it up myself. I'm having a fog brain week for some reason lol.
