I am new at this but here goes nothing!

Okay I am 18 years old and I am due to have a baby next month. My boyfriend (and father of the baby) just recently broke up; more like a week ago actually. He says that he can't trust me anymore and that I became too controlling when he decided that is was okay to stay out all night with his friends and leave me at home alone! Now, we had been together all 4 years of high school and he is honestly the only person I could see myself with (yes, I know that I am young and have a lot of time to wait for "Mr. Perfect, but he is perfect for me) on any level! He is now seeing someone else as "rebound" as he puts it, but I know in my heart that he really misses me.

How can I fix my relationship?

Is he scared to become an "adult" so fast?

Or does he just want to be a child?

Someone please help me, I want to be with him and I know that he still loves me, so what am I supposed to do?

Firstly is he the one for you? Or the one for you and child? You have to start thinking like that.
Will he be a good father to your child, if he hasn't changed and will go out every night and leave you and your baby home alone all the time? Is that what you want?

Why can't he trust you any more?

Have you asked him how he feels about fathering his child?

Wake up please and see this clearly. He is not the one . Real men don't leave the female to have a baby alone. Period. Concentrate on bringing a healthy happy baby into this world and let daddy pay child support. If he leaves you when your pregnant then how is he perfect for you? If he can leave now when he is needed most, what makes you think he will stay and be responsible? Your better off without him as its bad enough you are tied to him by this child for a long time to come. Sorry.

This is so right... and if he really loved her as she says she knows he does-then he wouldn't be with anyone else right now and he wouldn't have left her in the first place.

My ex left me when I was expecting my beautiful daughter 10 years ago, like Talaniman said he's not a real man, he's a loser, just like my ex.

Well Mommy to be, I know you pointed this out and I realize you don't want to be told this for the millionth time about being young. The problem with that is that you've never really been able to experience how the world works. You've got some males who are 60 years old and still boys. You've also got some who are 18 and men. As you get older you see it all the time and it becomes very easy to distingush who is a boy and who is a man. The father of your child is a boy. No self reapecting man would do that to a woman, much less the woman who is about to deliver his child. His current relationship may be a rebound but it's telling that he feels the need to date someone so quick after dating you for 4 years with you expecting. You need to start focusing on yourself and less on him because your road to the future will be different than the one he takes.

He is far from perfect. He is a loser and not a nice person.
How can you honestly believe that a good person would leave his pregnant girlfriend and knowingly jump into a relationship with a person to use them as a rebound?

Sorry, that's not a good person. That is a scumbag and unfortunately I think that is what you have on your hands here.
