I want to know what rights my son's father has? My son is 3 months. We got a dna test to prove that he was the father. And he was. He didn't have anything to do with my son until the test was proven that he was dad. I just want to know what rights he has like: how long does he get to see him, how many days a week and if he has over night? I live in mitchell,South Dakota.

As far as his rights to the child you share they are equal to the rights you now have. The only difference is that he will have to go to court to assert those rights. That's when you both can settle the custody issues but as far as the rights goes.. your both equals.
