    Battery cranking power
Is there a large difference between a 30 amp cca at 30 degrees Fahrenheit and a 30 amp cca at 0 degrees Fahrenheit for initial starting power?

Yes, Cold Cranking Amps (CCA) falls off dramatically at lower temperatures. 30 CCA at 0 degrees F. would be a much better battery.
