I've been having problem's for about 2 months now. They thought it was my gallbladder at first so I had a hida scan and a u/s done to check it. The test results came back perfect. So they were going to put a camera in my stomach and check for ulcers but that's when my pain moved into my abdomen lower pelvic region. I get really sick in the mornings I don't puke that much but I'm constantly running to the bathroom a million times before noon have very bad bowel movements. I get really tired easily and I get hot flashes. So I told my doctor what was going on and he said well when was your last period. And I told him that it was all messed up last month and I haven't had one since... I just got off birth control about a month and a half ago. So he was like there could be a slight chance your pregnant so I had a blood test done. My hCg level was at a .6 which technically means your not pregnant. But two of my friends were pregnant with there levels at a .3 and a .4. so I made an appt with a obgyn for next Wednesday but I need to know now I'm freaking out badly. I'm scheduled for a ct scan next Friday, should I call and cancel it in case I am pregnant. I mean me and my boyfriend do have unprotected sex when I went off the pill, we aren't trying to get pregnant but I means if it happens it happens you know what else can you do? Please someone give me some hope, I'm kind of hoping that I am to be honest.

Having unprotected sex is a good way to go to get pregnant, however its not always a done deal.. im afraid no one on line can tell you if your pregnant or not,it's a waiting game for the test results.

If you are having any kind of tests done I would mention that you are awaiting pregnancy results... all of this could be tied up in your other health issues...

With levels that low, they were not technically pregnant. Those test results would have been before a fertilized egg implanted. If they turned out to be pregnant later in that cycle, it was a coincidence.

Call before the appointment and tell them there is a chance - they will advise you further depending on the type of CT and if it involves contrast or not.

What else can you do? Um, I can think of one thing - use birth control!
You're not trying to become pregnant, yet you're having unprotected sex. Obviously, you're trying... that'll give your child a laugh one day when he asks how he came to be! You can just tell him you thought "what else could we do?" :rolleyes:

With a beta so low (non-pregnant) the only thing you can do is hope... and test again in 2 weeks. If it is in the pregnancy range, you can move on from there. In the mean time, start taking prenatal vitamins to avoid neural tube birth defects since you are having unprotected sex.
