I have a reformatted hard drive that I would like to retrieve data from, how do I do that. Is there some software preferably free that will help me to that.

Any tips will be appreciated.

If the hard drive has been completely reformatted, then that generally erases all of the data that's on it.

Is there a reason that you think that any of the data might be retrievable, please?
