This is my first time on here, but need to vent. I have been Trying to conceive since I had my miscarriage 8 months ago. This month I really think I may be pregnant. (fingers crossed) I have been cramping since last Thursday.(around 5dpo) Very minor cramps accompanied by some pressure in the pelvic area . My back has been bothering me as well; achy and uncomfortable. Not much change in my breasts. Sometimes I get a "tingly" feeling in my body too, it sounds weird, but almost like butterflies in my stomach. Also, I have been getting hot in the face.. out of nowhere my cheeks will just burn up, but the rest of my body feels fine. I took a hpt today, came up negative. My period is due this Friday... so I took the test 4 days before my expected AF.
How long does implantation last for? Does this sound like I may be pregnant? Any thoughts, comments would be great!:)

I had the same symptoms (amongst others) and I was pregnant. I know they have those tests that claim that it could detect a pregnancy 4 days before your actual period but I wouldn't rely on that. Take the test after the week of your expected period has passed... maybe you will miss your period and the test will still come out negative. If that is the case talk to your doctor about finding out via blood test (this is what happened to me with my second pregnancy). It takes a while for the hormones to build up and show on the urination test.

Take care of your body, don't stop trying to make a baby yet and take Materna Vitamins (Folic Acid).

Not sure what to think at this point... I'm really getting frustrated. My period is supposed to come today, so I took an HPT first thing this morning... NEG:( I have had a dull headache for the past 2 days, today my breasts are the most sensitive they've been. At one point yesterday afternoon, I had discharge that was milky and gooey, it looked very different than any other time. Any thoughts??

I have found myself in a similar situation, same symptoms as you same negative results and I was three weeks late, I had just wanted a baby so much that I had delayed my period. The body works in strange ways, be patient and relax, I was not pregnant,
I wish you all the luck in the world for a positive result.

Sometimes it is stress, PMS, the Flu or possibly pregnancy. A woman's body responds to stress, PMS or the Flu sometimes giving the same or similar symptoms of pregnancy. When do you think you have conceived? How long have you had these symptoms now? If you have only experienced these symptoms under a week then I really doubt the HPT would detect pregnancy right now! I KNOW THE IMPATIENCE!! :( I wish I could know the second it happens but it doesn't always work out that way :). With me... I noticed sticking it out for at least 2 weeks of having these symptoms then I took the test... if it still came out negative then I waited until my next expected period... if missed then took the HTP test again... still negative and still having symptoms... then go to the doctor and get the blood test done.

Find out your best ovulation times for conception... they have kits for it at the drug store and I am glad your taking your vitamins! Good luck and let us know if it's pregnancy or something else!

I either conceived oct.30 or oct 31. I got my last af on oct 15 I have a 30 to 31 day cycle

I was due for my period today also. I took an 3hpt on Tuesday night, all positive. I too believe I conceived the week of halloween. I would wait a few days and test again. It may just be too soon. Oh and my last af was on the 18th so sounds like we have similar cycles. I will cross my fingers and send some baby dust! :) keep us posted!

Still no AF I'm at Day 34 of my cycle (usually get it between 30-34 days) Starting yesterdsay, my nipples are EXTREMELY sensitive to the touch. (I'm wearing a sports bra, to keep them from moving along my shirt!) Had cramping yesterday, dull headache, back ache, little tired... took HPT again this morning... BFN! I'm so confused:( If I don't get AF by Friday, I think I'm going to call my DR. What do you girls think? This is really consuming my mind, I can't take it!

If you are only on day 34... and you run up to a 34 day cycle.. it's still too early to tell. Wait a week. If your period still has not shown up, take a pregnancy test using first morning urine. If that is still negative, make a doctor's appointment for a blood test.

I hope your right J9 because I REALLY hope I'm pregnant. However, I thought I could test on the day of my period? I have been tracking AF since Dec 2008, and I have ranged in a 30-34 day cycle. So your thinking I shouldn't take an HPT again until next week?

It's best not to take a HPT until you are sure you have MISSED your period. Also, remember to use first morning urine.

Today is now 35 of my cycle, no AF yet, but have minor pressure in my lower abdomen along with little cramps. My breasts are still sensitive. No nausea at all... I made an appt to see my DR today... I hope he has good news for me:)

Just got my blood work done, and it's negative:( They also did a sonogram to check for systs on my ovaries, everything is normal. My DR said if I don't get my period within the week, he's going to give me medicine to bring my period on... has anyone ever heard of that? What is the medicine called? I'm so sad:(

I'm so sorry. :( but don't give up hope! It took us 8 months of trying this time around. Ill be thinking of you and keep us posted!
