Why do metal surfaces feel cool to the touch even when they are at the same temperature as their surrounding??
Most metals have a relatively high heat capacity and conductivity. Your finger is cooled more by the metal because more heat is transferred to the metal than to other things. Your body judges temperature by how much heat flows in or out.
THANK YOU!! :)
