    Indefinite leave to remain and divorce
    I just want to know if my residence is going to be cancelled because I am getting divorce. Thanks

    If you already passed ILR test and permanent status approved, divorce will not jeopardize your status. Good luck.

    That's great, lawanwadee, but what does it all mean ? I am curious. So can you say it in plain english. I thought it meant he was in the military.

    ILR is Indefinite Leave to Remain (UK permanent resident status) or equivalent to 10 years green card.
