Has anyone seen one of these: an angle stop valve with 3/8" PEX push-connect inlet and a 7/8" ballcock outlet? I'll take it with or without a riser. I could even work with a straight stop valve. Instead of 7/8" ballcock outlet, I can even work with 3/8" compression. Several outlet options here, but I'd like to get the 3/8" PEX push-connect at the inlet to stop valve.

I've got 3/8" PEX in the wall connected directly to the ballcock of the toilets. I'd like to put stop valves at the toilets. I found the SharkBite (and other manufacturer's) valves but they have 1/2" PEX push-connect inlets.

I'd really appreciate any help.

Is the 7/8 measurment for the inside of the outside of the PEX pipe.

You said you found a SharkBite valve but it has a 1/2" pust connect. If so you could always reduce to 3/8" coming out of the 1/2" or run 1/2" inch all the way up to the commode ballcock.

Watts makes 3/8" nominal (1/2" OD) quick connect valves. I have never seen a 3/8" to ballcock, only 1/2", and that was just a connector, not a valve.

The Watts fittings are plastic and I still prefer the brass "Shark Bite" fittings, but they have a long line of those fittings.

Oh, and for letmetellu, that 7/8" that D-I-Y-guy mentioned is the threading on the ballcock I believe. Neither 3/4" or 1". I actually have a Watts 1/2" quick connect to 7/8" ballcock somewhere in my pile of extra parts. I also have 1/2" pex to GHT (garden hose), both male and female. Those I actually have used for temporary work.

Anyway, correct - the 7/8" ballcock I mentioned is the threading on the outlet of the angle stop that I was hoping to find. Since we have 3/8" PEX in the wall, I was hoping someone had seen a valve with a 3/8" PEX quick-connect inlet and an outlet (with or without a riser) with 7/8" ballcock threading. This would reduce the number of fittings (and connections) and opportunities for leaks. Thank you for your comments.

The threading on the base of the toilet is probably NPS, not NPT, a tapered thread.

Why not make the connection with a small length (2-3") of a standard metal toilet supply line. I think you'll end up with 3/8" to 3/8" with a stiff piece of chrome plated metal tube extending from the bottom of the tank.

Yes, as I mentioned in my original post, I could work with a 3/8" compression outlet from the valve, because as you mentioned, I could utilize a standard metal toilet supply line from that point. So, if I go this route, I would need an angle- or straight-stop with a 3/8" PEX quick-connect inlet and a 3/8" compression outlet, preferably made of brass. I'd appreciate any help if anyone has seen any of these.
