I have been dating this guy for 2 months now but we have been friends for a year. So I don't know why but I'm having these ideas like he's cheap or something. He works from 10A.M till 10 P.M he owns his shop. So I see him after 10. Sometimes we go out but sometimes he rather stays home and watch a movie or play poker.
We go out sometimes with my brother and his fiancé but he never paid for them!
So how should I know?? I need some help!!

Maybe he isn't cheap but that is just the way he was taught. Not everyone plans on paying for someone else or even thinks about it.
I know when I go out with family or friends I hardly offer to pay for them. That doesn't mean I am cheap though.

Maybe he might be a homebody. Also, giving his work schudule he might just be tired or maybe he is saving up for something.

Another thing, ou have known this guy for 10 years so I must ask "Have this ever been a issue before?"

Just because he has money, doesn't mean he should spend it. He might want to save his money.

But if you really want to understand what he's thinking, you're just going to have to talk to him. Communication is key.

He never pays for THEM? I wouldn't either. He is dating YOU, not your family.

He works 12 hours a day. Give the guy a break if he wants to stay in.

Are you two in love? Does he buy you gifts?

Some guys are just cheap by nature. If this is something that bothers you so much, talk to him about it.

Small business owners tend to watch the dimes and pennies when needed because there is always something that comes up out of nowhere that cost thousands that could potentially take you under,keeping the company up and running is first priority.

I think Miss Manners would say unless he said lets go out my treat,there should not be an expectation of him paying.

And to be honest if he is working 12 hour days you are lucky he is even seeing you more than to have a fast supper at his place ( maybe have you go over and fix it for him)
On a day off is when he may go out in the evening, not on a work night

Don't let money come between you and this guy. Finances are a big reason for arguments, breakups and divorces these days, don't let it happen to you. Money is material. If you want your love to last, you have to base it on something that will LAST. I'm not saying it's okay to throw your money around be stupid with it- of course if he was blowing it all, wasting it, or not spending ANY of it, that would be a problem. But not paying for dinner doesn't mean that he's cheap- this really isn't a serious problem at all.

If they paid one time for everyone and he owes them then yeah he should pay Once. But other then that they should pay for themselves.

If I was working 12 hour shifts I wouldn't want to go out afterward. I would want to go home and sit on the freaking couch or even go straight to bed. I would try to be a little understanding in that area.

Your guy is not responsible for your brother and his fiance's tap. They are responsible for their own food cost.
