All right, well as you know, blood stains can be very difficult to remove from clothing. I recently found one on the seat of my jeans from my last cycle. I'm pretty sure they've been washed and put in the dryer already. How can I get the stain out if it's already been dried in there without me knowing it was there? I want it GONE. It's driving me crazy, I love these pants.

And while we're at it, what about coffee stains?

Coffee stains are one of the WORST stains to get out. Run the stained article under COLD water, with a bit of mild soap. Then use Oxyclean or a stain remover and let sit for a while (I usually let it sit overnight). Rinse in cold water, then wash as normal--but make sure the stain is gone before you put the article into the dryer.

As far as your jeans go---you're probably out of luck. Heat has set the stain already. You can try rubbing with salt in cold water, but that may or may not work.

Oxyclean can fade the stain quite a bit. You can also try scubbing the stain gently with dish soap or detergent and a dish scrubie. Then put a couple of drops of detergent to cover the stain and let it set for a couple of hours. Then wash them.

I heard that there was a special kind of stain remover for just those things called
Mary Ellen's For Those Days Menstrual Stain Remover It said it works for dried in stains as well. Also, I heard that meat tenderizer might work, but I'm skeptical.

As far as coffee stains, there are wipes at my work, but they've been discontinued. I'm considering spending my last 5 dollars on them. But once they run out, then what?

LEST OIL - I just used it for grease stains!! It comes in a bottle that looks like old english... you use a very little amoutn and rub it together... you may need to do it two times (2 washes) but it works like a miracle!

I spilled an entire crock pot of butter on the front of a sweatshirt - I washed and dried the sweatshirt and obviously it didn't come out! I got lest oil and its gone the whole entire front of my oil stained sweatchsirt looks like nothing ever happened!

I tried the lest oil before and it worked. I don't remember what kind of stain I used it for, but I remember it worked. If it takes out grease stains it should work on other stains too.

Here's something I heard works, but I've never tried it.

Hydrogen peroxide. Try a spot test first to make sure that it won't remove the color. If the spot test is okay then soak the area, let the HP foam for a few minutes, then wipe. You may have to do this a few times because the blood stain is set. Afterwards just launder as normal.
