Have you heard of Body for Life? It is not another diet book, but a great book about changing your body for life and not to just lose 10-30-60 pounds then go back to your old patterns. it really helped me learn how to choose proper foods and proportions and helped me not feel guilty if I got weak and broke the pattern. it focuses on changing your whole lookout on food and exercise and it was just overall very empowering. I did so well on it until I returned home, and I started making excuses for myself, but I am now looking to return to it...as I had been so happy and had gone from a size 12 to a size 6 over a 5 month period and I really had every intention to stick to it. I got off track because my whole life was up heaved, but if you have such a supportive husband then possibly he can join you in this experience and you can both become dedicated to it.. =) best wishes!
