    Order of Protection--i filed; will I go to jail
    ]I filed an order of protection on my boyfriend, our court date is in two weeks but I sent him a txt message, that said "i missed u". Will I go to jail if my he brings the txt up in court?

    No, but the court will likely drop the request and you will have a hard time getting another since it will be seen as crying wolf.

    And he could use that as a defense if he was arrested for this.

    What happened so seroius, so bad that you got the order, did he physcially abuse you, steal from you?

    No I did not get him arrested and I pressed no charges, and he has never abused me, he just got upset at me one night and threatened me and then my mother, that is all. I do not feel like I cried wolf because the police said it was the right thing to do in oreder to protect myself in case he decided he wanted to act on those threats he made while he was upset.

    I'm not saying it was the wrong thing to do, but after doing so, contacting him like that WAS wrong.

    If you filed for an order of protection, then you have to justify it. This will go on his record. If you drop the order, it will not look good if you need to file another.

    You file a order of protection on someone you hate, who is a danger to you and someone you will never want to see again,

    This on his record, even if latter it runs out can effect him in so many ways latter
