The inner glass on my GE oven door is chipped,but holding! (from mking steam for breadmaking:mad:I should have it fixed but I wonder what would happen if I go on using it as it is.

If you go on using it it can break, well, it will actually shatter. It is heat treated glass. The chip will cause a stress point and sooner or later, it will shatter.
