    Bad smell after shower
Hi. I wrote in a couple of weeks ago concerning a sewery type ? Smell after we shower. It usually happens after a longer shower. This started about a month ago. All the drains that we see have water in them including the basement floor drain. Rain does not seem th have anything to do with it except that I know we have had a lot of rain and our water table is high. We poured about one and a half gallons of bleach down the bathroom roof vent. It might of helped a little. The smell didn't seem as strong but can't be sure because sometimes its there and sometimes not. Also the sink in the same bathroom had aliitle bit of the smell first thing in the morning even though the drain in the show/tub doesn't smell at all. They both are free from hair, soap etc. Does anyone have an idea what this could be? Also, this home was a foreclosure and sat empty for a few month. I don't know if that has anything to do with it seeing this smell only started a month or so ago. We also still hve that chemically smell that I wrote to you about to begin with that has been such a puzzle. That's been there since we bought the house a year ago. That smell is in the basement, and strongest on the stairs going down to the basement , probably because its cubby holed there and then eminates upstairs through mostly the living room, kitchen and hall. The funky smell can be slight or sometimes very strong. I took my suitcase that had been in my basment to my son's house the other day and that funky chemically smell was in my suitcase when I opened it up. PLEASE , does anyone have any ideas? THANK YOU
