    My fathers parents
    Hi my father was born in belfast march 1947 I know that his biolgical mother is called sarah orr and his father is called john gilespie they lived on wilton road or street belfast I would love to know my biological grandparents to know who they were and also I have got children and would like to know if there is any health issues on there side how do I go about this.

    YOU have no right to dig into your FATHER'S adoption.

    Your only options are to hire an LPI and register on reunion websites.

    I'm sorry but I have every right to look into my fathers adoption as he asked me to help him find out any info I am not just anyone I am his parents granddaughter

    HE has many MANY more options than you do--on the LEGAL side of things.

    According to the law, you ARE "just anyone". You are NOT one of the parties involved in the adoption.

    There is a sticky at the top of the adoption forum that talks about what to do if you are searching for biological parents or biological children. I suggest you read it, and have your father start some of the steps.
