Where do I find the model number information on the fan? Just moved into a rental with 2 non functioning fans/lights and don't have a user manual to try and fix on my own.

In some cases there is a tag on top of the motor that may have a model number, but it's usually not relevant.

I would just take the fans back to Home Depot to exchange them under warranty.

A) This is not Hampton Bay's web site, nor it is the Hampton Bay help line. From many of the posts we get here I am very curious as to why so many folks think it is.

B) This is an OT question to this thread. It has nothing to do with the original topic from way back in 2006..

I would contact Hampton Bay directly.
