Can I profit by exposing corps insider trading and stock fraud
I have knowledge of a company that, with the help of another corporation, misled shareholders and arranged a sale of themselves through a fictional corp back to themselves. Stock prices were intentionally deflated and the sale was final within months of the announcement. Unsuspecting shareholders lost big $ without knowing why. The first corporation now conducts business from behind a bankrupt second corporation. The second corporation is fictitious using a similar name as that of a well respected entity. Shareholders never knew the difference. These actions were taken to minimize damages to their reputation as they defended themselves against a federal lawsuit. Stockholders never knew of the lawsuit. The lawsuit settled and they still operate. I was in a position as plaintiff and stockholder to receive all corp sale info while the sale and lawsuit proceeded. The sale happened just prior to settlement. The event that I have described coincides exactly with the filing of the lawsuit. Hundreds of thousands lost money due to corporate greed and failure to accept responsibility for their actions. I have evidence as to the truth of this matter and would very much like to sell this story for not only profit, but to let former shareholders know the true reasons for their losses.
How best to expose an act of corporate fraud
It is my desire to expose an act of corporate fraud committed to avoid potential losses from a pending lawsuit. I intend to notify former shareholders what exactly happened to their investments. I am seeking advice on how best to go about this endeavor. The company still is in operation and have not a clue that I am willing to violate a settlement agreement fashioned to force my silence as to their identity. I am very interested in making a profit from the telling of the story and divulging their injuries upon innocent corporate backers. The CEO should be in prison along with Madoff.
