Kenmore elite heavy duty king size capacity washer
It is an older model with no digital controls, just all knobs and switches.
The washing machine just overflows. It worked perfect until 2 days ago, but now it doesn't know when to stop filling itself and it keeps on filling and filling until it floods my basement. Is there a water level indicator or a flow meter that maybe causing it to not shut off once the water level that is required is met?

The reason the kenmore top load washer is overfilling is usually because a hose popped off,or has become pinched... its a very easy fix,simply plug the hose back in ,or unpinch it,the hose runs from the fill level switch to the tub,usually a clear hose...
