    1992 Honda Accord losing coolant
    Hello all,
I have a 1992 Honda Accord EX 4dr that is losing a ton of fluid from the passenger side of the motor toward the wheel well. I just installed a new radiator and lower radiator hose and thought that I had fixed the problem. Came out of my house today and found a puddle under the car. Started it and drove it for a while and it started to over heat and I saw coolant coming from the passenger side. I could not tell where it was coming from though. Any ideas.

    Thanks.

. Check the clamp on the lower radiator hose. Be sure to remove the air dam for access. You may want to use an aviation (worm gear) clamp, instead of a spring clamp. The thickness of the hose (O.D.) varies from one brand to another, affecting how well the spring clamp seals.

. Check the coolant reservoir. It may have cracked or the hose or cap is not sealing properly.

Thanks for your post. I have checked both of those and it is pouring steam out from the passenger side of the engine. It is coming from lower on the engine. Do you know what would be on the passenger side of the lower engine that could be releasing steam.

    Thanks again.

Beneath the distributor are the ECT Gauge Sending Unit and the ECT Sensor. Behind the distributor is the thermostat housing and ECT Switch. Make sure it's not a blown head gasket or cracked block.
