Add "Tracks" to a lengthy .cda file
I've got a lengthy .cda file on a CD. It's audio only.

I'd like to move it to my computer and then add "tracks" to it (that is, points that could be forwarded to or backed up to... probably about 3 minutes apart) and then burn it back to a cd.

Currently it is 1 hr, 33 minutes.

What type of software do I need to get that done? Are there any freebies that I can use to do it?

    Thanks!

By "points" do mean that pressing the "next" button on your CD player would bring to you to that track?

Yes. I should have clarified that. I can "fast forward" the file using the "slide bar" if I'm listening to it on my computer, but I'd like to put it on a CD so that people using a typical cd player (like in a car) can use "next" or "back" to jump back a couple minutes - or go forward a couple minutes...

Ah, then you could "rip" it to mp3, then cut into individual files then burn them back to audio CD in the order you wish.

Aha! I see that I've got Audacity on my computer... probably for something I used it for long ago. Thanks, NK!
