Please please please help me. I am in love with a person who did not love me but she cares for me.we are in the same college and I cannot avoid meeting her and her phone calls. I proposed her, and she says that she has no such feeling for me but she did not wants to break our friendship.But I still love her by heart .I don't know what should I do. I have tried everything to forget her but fails.She is my addiction.god please help me , help me please.

This isn't love, it's an obsession. No contact is best. Being friends with her is just making it impossible for you to get over her and to heal your heart. You need to stay as far away from her as possible (for your sake).

You proposed to her and she wasn't even your girlfriend yet? Definitely obsession. You can't force one sided love, I learned that the hard way.

You haven't tried everything, you HAVE to have NO contact with her to get over her. Plain and simple.

This isn't healthy.

This also isn't love.

This is obsession, plain and simple.

This says it all.

You need to tell her that you can't stop obsessing about her and because of that you cannot be her friend any more. You need to look after you own mental health, which isn't doing too good right now.

Go to No contact, that's the only way. Or keep obsessing, lose your mind completely and end up possibly doing something that you can't walk away from.

You mention she was an addiction. So just like every other addiction, you need to detox. Get her out of your system. In this case and in most cases no matter what the addiction is, is to stay away from them. You can do that. You don't need her to live. Its not like without her in your life, you will die.

Calm down my friend, just stop acting like a friend and keep the conversations brief, and stay away from her as much as possible. You really should have other things to do that you enjoy, and not be so available to talk to her so much.
