    Shoulder muscle pain
My son is 22 years old and is a wrestler and a weight lifter. He has a lot of shoulder pain but had a MRI Arthrogram that told him the Labrim and Rotator cuff are fine. He has Tendinitis. Someone told me about muscle imbalance and think he is not lifting correctly. He may not be lifting with all muscle groups so therefore he is creating shoulder pain. He is big in the shoulders and biceps but not as much in back or pecs. I wonder what type of regimen should he be on or who should he see to help him with this before he damages his shoulders. Any ideas?

Get a trainer or physio to look at his routine and see what he is doing that causes the imbalance. A lot of young men tend to work their chest harder than their back, because it's easier to see your chest muscles. Biceps often get worked harder than triceps, even though it's a much smaller muscle.

But it's impossible to tell long distance what the problem is. He needs someone to look at him lifting and see what he is doing.
