The city had to turn off the water at the valve on the curb. After turning it back on, our hot water tap at the sink in the bathroom rattles loudly when turned on. How do I stop this from happening?

Can you tell us what the city was doing? They may have done something that raised your water pressure or dislodged some debris that is now caught in your mixing valve. Is the pipe properly secured? Does it rattle only when you shut off the water? Back to you
