I am a J2 visa holder. My employer is deducting following from taxes from my pay check,
    Federal Income Tax
    Social Security Tax
    Medicare Tax
    MD State Income Tax

My question is, Am I liable to all the above, if yes, then what is the percentage of deduction for each one?

J2 visa holder can work only after getting work permit.
You will pay SS tax at 6.2% and Medicare tax at 1.45%.

Federal income tax rates start at 10% and top out at 35%. Most of your income will probably be taxed at 15%.

Maryland state tax rates start at 2% and top out at 6.25%. Most of your income will probably be taxed at 4.75%.
