I'm just going by what I've heard in the news. They recently raised it to 16, as far as I know. If they haven't I know they're talking about it. I sometimes do crossword puzzles during the news so I could be wrong. ;)

Ok... upon further research, the age of consent in Ontario is 16. It was changed by the Tackling Violent Crime Act in '08.

Am I the only one who finds it odd that OP KNOWS it's statutory rape - and that's how he titled his question?
