L want to know if there really is a difference?
L just want to know if men and women really do see, feel and act differently whilst in a relationship? L get so downhearted at men sometimes! Are we really so different when it comes to love?

I am not sure what exactly you are asking. Men, we do feel, see and act the same and also we act different. Every person is different in how the handle things, especially emotions

I would assume the most common difference is this between the two sexes is this:

    Men: think rational
    Women: think irrational

:D But, that is a bit of a fallacy. All people are different and sometimes it takes awhile to find someone you are compatible with. Just be patient and keep trying.

L guess what lm trying to ask is-from personal experiences and reading many stories here it seems that most times its guys that seem to cool in a relationship-not be as attentive-whilst maintaining that in their opinion nothing has changed! Plus when they split up with someone they loved they just seem to carry on as 'normal' i.e going to the pub, football, seeing friends etc! L just don't get a man's psyche when it comes to love!

No, we aren't robots that simply don't feel. We get hurt, and yes, we do even cry. They way I look at it is this, girls have friends that want to evaluate the relationship after it's over, see where things went wrong and why. Guys have friends that really don't like to hear about it, or deal with the emotional trauma that comes with it. So they usually go out and have a beer or something to talk it over. It's not that we don't care, it's that our friends don't help us dwell on things.

    Sounds about right.

The story's different when the guy is the one being dumped though, and in that case, I find women recover much more quickly than guys.

    I wish
I don't think you can generalize like that.

It depends on who is the dumpor and who is the dumpee.

It depends on how deep each person felt in the relationship.

It depends on how the couple broke up.

It depends on what type of person they are.

It depends on the person's level of experience when it comes to relationship.

    It depends.
