    Coleman 7900 Series
I have an old Coleman 7900 series gas furnace and fired it up this morning. The blower motor was stuck and it tripped the burner reset. I waited for it to cool down and reset the switch, turned the power switch back on. Now it seems there is no power coming from the transformer for the thermostat to click on. I tried overriding the thermostat by touching the white and red wires together (this worked last year) but to no avail. I don’t have a voltage meter to see if the transformer is working properly.

    Could the transformer have fried?
    Any help would be helpful
    Thanks
    John

The transformer could be bad but you really need a meter to check for the proper voltages.

You really should have a meter to test things out.
