Can two people going through divorce move in together? I have been separated for 1 year and my hearing for divorce is already set. My girlfriend has been separated for 5 years and is waiting to hear from her lawyer about her final hearing date. We live in South Carolina. I have custody of my kids and she has custody of hers. We are just trying to move forward with our lives and the move makes financial sense.

Why is the divorce taking so long, is there fighting over money or custody ro child support.
