If someone is on 3 years probation, and they get violated after 2 1/2 years, how much time can they be sentenced to?

Three years. You'd think he'd get credit for the time he was on probation, wouldn't you?? But, no. It doesn't work that way.

Three years. There is no credit for anything other than actual time spent in jail. Go back to the original sentencing paperwork. It should be spelled out there in detail.
