While driving home from work last night, my headlights dimmed and the volts light came on. Then as I went up hill, the lights brightened back up and the indicator light went out. A few miles down the road it did it again, but this time got so dim that I could barely see the road. So I pulled over and the car shut off. I checked the battery, the fluid was full, terminals OK. Checked the connectors on the alternator, all where in tact as far as I could make out in the dark. So I got back in the car, and it started right up. So I continued home and about two mile from my house it did the same thing, but this time I couldn't get it started again. The headlights come on very dim, and the dash and overhead lights work, but it won't turn over, just clicks. My dad said it may be the battery, but if it were the batt. Then I should've been able to make it home on the alternator. The alternator is less than a year old though. Does anyone know what it could be? I have to work tomorrow at 2PM and need to get this taken care of ASAP!
