Laundry room roughed to adjacent bath
I'm in a ranch style home and would like to convert a utility room adjacent to the master bath to an second laundry room. The wall in which I'd like to install the washer is on the back side of a jacuzzi tub. This would allow access to the hot and cold as well as the drain.

My question: Other than jackhammering into the concrete (which by the way would change my mind about the project completely); is it best to tie into tub drain and what is the best way to do it?

What is in the Utility Room now ? Do you have Service sink ? Floor drain ? What other plumbing / gas fixtures are in there ? Are you on slab or raised foundation ?

Drain will be your biggest problem. Get back to us with answers to my questions so we can offer more accurate advice. Thanks. Milo
