Superman can fly 250km/h. He is on Train A which is traveling at 100km/hour. He notices Train B 275km away heading straight towards him at 120km/hour. Superman takes off and flies straight to Train B, and as soon as he gets there he turns around and flies back to Train A. Then he turns around and flies back to train B again. He continues to do this 8 times until Train A hits Train B. Find the distance he went before being crushed. You MUST find all 8 of his distances and then add them up.

This is for my physics homework due 2maro! I need help ASAP, someone tell how to do this with showing all the work. Thanks

Work a little differently :).

Imagine superman flying to and from a wall and a train moving 220 km/hr towards the wall from 275km away . That should simplify things. (2 objects moving towards each other is similar to 1 object moving at the absolute value of the speed of those two objects added together moving to a stationary object)
