    In Kentucky is both parents want the child to be adopted. Do the grandparents have any rights. If so can the adoptive paretns ask the court for child support.

    Generally, grandparent rights do not survive an adoption. And no, adoptive parents cannot ask for child support. The act of adoption makes the adoptive parent the legal parent and fully responsible for the child.

    No, the grandparents cannot stop an adoption if both bio parents want to give the child up for adoption. No, also, the adoptive parents can not get child support. When the adoption goes through the bio parents are no longer parents and the "adoptive" parents are full legal parents.
