OK I'm the guy you always hear about in movies, I'm the nice guy. I do all kinds of things for people then I get walked on, I make people happy and they turn on me, its hard to say no, I always come back for more pain and misery. What am I to do about this, is there really anything I can do? I just hate it but I can't stop doing it where do I go from there?

There's a little word in the english language that some people find difficult to master its meaning that word is.. NO.

No,I can't I'm over committed as it is.

    No,I'm working.

    No,I have other plans.

    People will still like you.

Take control of your life, there is nothing wrong with being the nice guy,in fact the world needs more nice guys.

Don't let people take advantage of your good nature, you probably get asked because they know you will help out.

    What age are you?

Good point Red (had to spread the rep).

A desire to help people is in most cases, in my opinion, is a desire to belong and be accepted. There is nothing wrong about that and you will end up the better person for it. However red is right, you have to balance things as there are many who will simply take advantage of you and take as long as you are willing to play their 'game' and continue to give until it hurts.

    I wish
I thought you had anger problems? https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/mental...es-409393.html

I strongly suggest that you go see a counsellor to sort things out. You seem to be very confused with who you are. If you're the type who wants to sort things out yourself instead of getting outside help, then I would say that the nice guy will always come out ahead in the end. Don't let anger and fustration get the best of you.

On a lighter note, check this short film out for all the nice guys: (3 parts)
