80's Halloween TV movie title
The movie was set in a town where there were witch trials a hundred years earlier. A young girl and guy open a hidden spell book from the town archives and the dead come to life. There is a town party that goes on and I remember a 50's teen girl in a varsity football jacket returning from the dead. The main female I believe was African American. One of the songs was "I'm dead, your dying. Everybody's trying, Get Dead" It appeared on TV and I cannot recall the movie title. Seems the lead actress was from a family where the father was also an actor.
