    Dying natural red hair
Hello I have natural light red hair and have been dying it chocolate brown for the past 2 years. I try to go without dying my regrown excessively as each time I do, the bits of hair already died become darker and I get inconsistencies. Is there a quick way to neutralise the red colour coming through without redying the other sections darker? I have tried using a dark ash blonde toner over the regrowth and this works but doesn't last very long... any ideas?? Thank you xxxx

If your previous color is brown with red tones, you will need to use an ash color that's close to your current shade in order to fully neutralize the red. Try using a permanent color like "ash brown" on the new growth. The color will last until it grows out.
