Tuning my satellite receiver to my TV
    Greetings,
Tuning my satellite receiver to my T

My TV has lost the ability to tune in to my satellite receiver. In the past, I just connected the SCART cable between the TV and the satellite receiver and the picture would come on automatically, now all I get is some sort of very unstable , unmeaningful picture – I can tell its from the satellite because of the general colours I see, but is useless as I can't see anything, the picture keeps moving all the time. I don’t know what the problem is. My TV does not give the opportunity to tune or track when the signal comes from a SCART cable, it seems to automatically tune in, but for some reason, it does not do that now.. I got the same problem when connecting the VCR, but interestingly, the DVD player worked fine… could someone please help me.

What kind of satellite receiver do you have model # etc... check the back of your satellite receiver make sure PAL is not selected if you have an NTSC TV or VCR or vice versa check the remote also see if there's a P or N selection make sure N(NTSC) is selected
