Wood burning stove piping is leaking
It is leaking right where it comes in to the ceiling. I don't have the stove anymore and I have the top covered. Where could the water leak be coming from?

It is coming from the roof. What type of roof do you have?

The water is coming in from around the bottom of the vent pipe on the roof. You need to get up on the roof and properly seal it with roof tar or the water intrusion into your ceiling and roof will get worse.

OK I've tarred all the way around all the shingles and it still leaks. I also have the hole in the ceiling covered in plastic and can see when the wind blows out side. Could the pipe have a bad seal?
