Homework on Coordinate Geometry

Hi guys. I'm currently doing my homework but I'm stuck on this question and I need help ASAP

" find K given that (-3,k) is 7 units away from (2,4)"
How do I solve this question. And which formula do I use

The distance between two points on a coordinate grid can be found from Pythagorus:

Here $d = 7\text {, }(x_1,y_1) = (2,4)\text{, and }(x_2,y_2) = (-3, k)$ . Use these values in the above equation and solve for $y_2$ .
